Goku uses his long journey to Namek not only to help the animators fill the episodes because they're catching up too fast with the manga, but to also train in the gravity room of his Capsule Corp spaceship so he can face the dangers of Namek.

When a cosmic storm causes the equipment to malfunction however, he's suddenly exposed to conditions of 100 times normal gravity. Hanging upside down from the ceiling for his training, Goku finds himself quite helpless against the forces and fires a Kamehameha wave at the binds around his feet in hopes to free himself from his predicament. His plan backfires as the enormous gravity pushes the wave back down and hits him on the shoulder.

I adore cels from the gravity rooms, both Goku's and Vegeta's, and this is a very nicely drawn cel with practically no line fading. Hopefully I can get a more matching background some day though, or at least one that matches the red lighting of the scene better.

Love the Vegeta-look hair, apparently Saiyan hair IS affected by gravity, but only when it's upside down. Who knew.

And no ladies, I'm not ignoring the fact that Goku is shirtless, nor am I denying it influenced my decision to buy this cel.

I just didn't want to be too obvious.
