Happy Birthday to me.

One day before my birthday and I win this cel on YJ. To be honest, the regular auction of this cel ended in a no sale, I was abroad and could not place a bid when it ended. So we contacted the seller, asked if he would relist and he agreed.

And here it is. A perfect Turles from the Tree of Might movie. Seriously, this has got to be one of the best cels in my collection. It has almost NO line fading, which is pretty remarkable for a cel of this age (28 years and counting). I'm guessing the zero line fading and killer shot was also the reason this cel came at quite the cost, but it was worth it. To me anyway, I'm a sucker for zero line faded Dragonball cels. I've always wanted a good cel of Turles and now I have one, so I'm a happy Chappy...Gally...well, you know what I mean.  

This scene takes place at the end of the movie, where Turles just defeated the Z warriors as easily as if he were folding napkins and Goku is gathering strength from the Tree itself. Turles looks up at the fruits from the Tree of Might which are hanging from the ceiling of the cave they are fighting in. All mere moments before Goku obliterates him.

Well...he got it coming. 

I'm loving the trademark red scouter and the black armor. And did you know Turles has three spikes of hair as opposed to Goku, who has two? So no problem telling them apart during the annual family Christmas dinners.
